Lesson Learned: Saving time with Streamlined Blogging

Example Blog Post Visual

To be shared on Facebook/Pinterst   /  to be shared on Instagram/Twitter

Feeling the pressure to constantly produce valuable, one-of-a kind content for your blog? I know I am. It’s pretty darn time consuming and when your job title isn’t solely “blogger”, the pressure to keep up can sometimes be debilitating. For me, I use blogging as a way to connect with other creatives and to gain exposure to new clients interested in the work I’m sharing. Blogging is a vital piece of my business. It may seem tempting to buy Instagram followers and have bots automatically comment, like posts and auto-follow Instagram in your niche. Using Instagram bots makes it look like you have a lot of followers and comments – often in hours or days. The problem with Instagram bots is they aren’t real. They’re robots. You aren’t growing your followers organically with people genuinely interested in best press release service, and you can forget about engagement. Many Instagram users are wise to Instagram bots and won’t follow someone who leaves a one-word comment on their post. If they start realizing you’re using bots, they might react negatively towards your brand and cause other users to join in too. Hence for this situation many people prefer to use an automation tool for the managing their marketing. To find the right automation tool is a very complex task. You must opt the best, secure and safe marketing tool to get the real gain of the followers. Digital Marketing Agency (DMA) is a web marketing agency that offers SEO services, PPC services, social media marketing services, web design services. Hence as per latest survey, people prefer to opt the kicksta automation tool, as it ensures your safety and growth on Instagram.  At path social review you find out the real truth about this service. You can buy Instagram followers from Upleap to boost your social media traffic.

In the survey it is also notices that people also opt for the another option instead of the automation is to Buy real Instagram likes for your photos and videos! As according to them, it’s very important to have many Instagram likes. Galaxy Marketing offers you to order even country targeted Instagram likes!

Apart from all this, I’ve also discovered a few ways to streamline sharing content no social media. These days, blogging means more than pushing publish in your blogging platform. If you’re doing it “right” (read: thoroughly) it means, sharing that finished post of Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, etc, etc….and do so in a way that isn’t just spamming the same content on all platforms.   Whew!! 4 best techniques below.

++

1. Photograph Wisely
If you’re taking photos for a blog post, be sure to take a few additional shots at different/unique angles so you can tell the same story in a new way. Each platform you share on should ideally have a new visual to represent the story you’re telling. See the photos in this post as an example.

2. Choose 2-3 Favorite Sharing Platforms
Choose your favorite platforms and solely dedicate your time to those platforms. For me, I’m a fan of Instagram and Twitter, with an occasional pin to Pinterest or update to my Facebook feed. If you narrow down the platforms you’ll be able to create more official content without spreading yourself too thin.

3. Repin, Retweet, Repost
If your work or the content you’ve previously posted has gained an audience and is being shared elsewhere, it doesn’t hurt to repin, retweet, repost. I’ve found this tactic act as a little reminder about “old” content I’ve already shared. If you want to know how to create content that would surely catch your audience’s attention, companies like Func.media possess such knowledge.

4. If you can’t, you can’t
There are definitely times when logging into WordPress is the very last thing on my mind. When days go by and you’re too busy to post…you’re just too busy. First and foremost, blogging needs to be fun and you need to be able to express your unique vision without feeling like it’s a life/death situation. Blog readers will always come back, clients will find you and your life will NOT be over. hehe.

Do you guys have any additional tips or suggestions.
I’m always looking for ways to streamline further.

  1. AH now that I’ve read point number 4 I’m going to take that as hint from the universe that I can stop killing myself over not posting for about 2 weeks. I CAN EAT MY NUTELLA SANDWICHES IN PEACE! Joking aside, all great points, and a definite first step to making blogging more efficient yet enjoyable!

    1. Hi Shini! Thanks so much for stopping by. I just love your blog and read it on the regular. No pressure to keep posting awesome content. And yes…eat that Nutella sandwich is peace!!! Happy Holidays 🙂

  2. I’ve been seeing how hard it is lately to manage social media accounts for multiple business. I have my personal life/ photography business so it’s easy to maintain that but I am also a creative director for a spa and beauty e-commerce store and I cannot for the life of me remember to post on any of their social media accounts. It gets so overwhelming.

    1. I hear ya Brittanny! My suggestion would just to post minimally until it gets more integrated into your routine. Choosing only one platform to post to also really helps 🙂

  3. Good tips! I dropped by after seeing a shot of your bedroom on Remodelista (and of course had to pin it ;-)). I really like your design aesthetic: so clean and soothing.

  4. I love this post! I’ve been blogging for 2.5 yrs now and I’m still working on improving my process – the writing part is easy but the actual production of a post is still hard! I’d love to hear more about your step by step process for how you set up your posts, how long it usually takes you to put together a post, and maybe if you have a good web hosting recommendation (I use hostgator and I’m not sure it’s the easiest one out there to use). Love these tips!
