A cozy home // Netherlands

One of my favorite interiors photographers, Marjon Hoogervort , has quite an amazing online portfolio. While flipping through her archives of images I came across a project she did back in 2010. This shoot was beautifully styled by Tatjana Quax and Susanne Kennedy. Marjon captured the cozy aspect of the home and was able to show all the little details that add up to something that feels sophisticated yet lived in.

If you’re looking for some great interiors eye candy, stop by Marjon’s online portfolio.

Lori Andrews Interiors

Lori Andrews makes interiors look magical with classic furniture pieces, minimal color palettes, and a wide variety of artwork/patterns. I’d love to spend some time in any of the rooms she’s designed. Not only is she an interior designer, she also has mastered the skills of stock photography. You can see all her Royalty Free and Rights Managed Photos here. Lastly, You can follow along on Lori’s blog called The 10 Cent Designer.

In Their Home // Likainen Parketti

Ne-Na is a blogger (Likainen Parketti) who lives in an old factory, but dreams of being an owner of her own home. Her current space is filled with everything I love; lots of black and white, with hints of gray and color. The only thing missing in my opinion is a few more furniture pieces with natural wood tones. I love everything about her space and would love to spend the weekend cozied up on her couch reading all her interior design magazines.

Lonny Rooms // My Favs

Lonny Magazine has been a go-to source for interior inspiration for months now. I look forward to the next bi-monthly magazine to release and then read the hundred + pages over and over, mentally bookmarking every page. Sometimes it’s hard to remember all those beautiful rooms, but thankfully LonnyMag.com has a section on their site called “Decorate” where you can browse room after room of gorgeousness.

Go take a look. Some of my favs are above.

In Their Home // Yvestown

Oh boy. Another dream land to explore. This home feels like it’s been town out of Shabby Chic wonderland and then kissed by fairies. (whatever that means) What I’m trying to say is the color palette and patterns of this home remind me of Ms. Shabby Chic herself, but then the homeowner gets rid of all the country crap. Magical.

Homeowner and blogger of The Yvestown Blog, Yvonne (from Belgium) has a real skill at putting a space together and sticking with a theme. Please stop by her blog and see what else I wasn’t able to cram into this post. 🙂

A home by Norm.

When I see a beautifully designed home such as the Fredensborg House, by Norm Architecture, I feel I should talk about the beautifully crafted details and the stunning lighting fixtures, but honestly all I can think about is how this is such a Cullen House! (twilight reference) All I can picture is fabulous vampire parties planned by Alice Cullen…

But on a more serious note, this home is amazing. I think it’s a bit too “neutral” for a home of my own, but I sure would love to stay there for a week, and yes…stunning light fixtures.

Visit Babylonstoren

Imagine this….A Cape Dutch farm surrounded by mountains and vinyards. Imagine fruit and vegetable gardens that supplies organic yummies to the locals. Imagine all day access to the entire farm grounds, spa and gym. Sounds exactly like a place I’d like to stay for $480 USD/Night. Babylonstoren is one of the oldest Cape Dutch farms with the main manor house dating back to 1777. All the history paired with beautiful scenery makes this place irresistible.

A Dynamic Duo

Photographer, Marjon Hoogervorst and Interior Stylist, Anouk B are frequently a pair working to bring a room to life through beautiful images. More recently they have joined forces back in September of this year with a blog that showcases some of their current projects, as well as other things that inspire them. Each on their own has the ability to create something beautiful, but together things turn out stunning.

In Their Home // Pinjacolada

This is another great home coming from Helsinki Finland. This home belongs to a design blogger and mama, Pinja of Pinjacolada, who has a passion in color and aesthetics, which is something I totally relate to. Pinja also adds in snapshots from her day to life while living in Finland with her little girl. Her home and personal spaces are incredibly colorful, well thought out, and extremely inviting.

I hope you enjoy her space as much as I do and find another great blogger to follow.

In Their Home // Mokkasin

Another blogger with a charming home to look at. I feel lucky that I just keep finding the most beautiful homes. This home/blog (Mokkasin) makes me feel like a kid again and like I’ve landed in wonderland. So whimsy and fun. What do you think?

Stop by the BLOG here. You won’t be disappointed 😉
