Today marks the start of yet another design collaboration and I’m pretty excited about it. For the time being, on Thursdays, I’ll be sharing hand-picked items with Emma’s readers ( Emmadime ) that will hopefully spark some gift ideas for the holidays. I know I always have that one person on my list that is just impossible to buy for. Talk about frustrating, right? So, here’s how it works. Each post will have a certain individual in mind to help tailor your online shopping searches. Head on over and see my hand picked items for those MINIMALIST out there.

COLLABORATIONS

Hey everyone, Bre here! First of all – thank you so much for all of the great feedback Cassie and I both received last week for our initial “recreate it” post. It was great to hear our collaboration was interesting and useful. Let’s just say, it’s here to stay!

I chose a spread from Collected Mag this week, which always uses such simple and gorgeous layouts. The reason I chose it was because they took some fun risks! Layering text on top of your photography is always a challenge – especially when you’re trying to make sure something is legible. I chose to use a transparent block of color (brown) to help make sure everything was easy to read. Now it’s your turn to try. Plus, both of the fonts I picked out are FREE, so make sure to go get em’!

Therese Sennerholt Prints

I was hopping from one Swedish blog to another when I came across the prints of Terese Sennerholt. I remember seeing one of the prints (the one with the big brown leather couch) spring up on Pinterest once, but was never able to track the image back to its original source. Well, hooray!!!! I’ve found her and boy am I glad.

The messages are simple, the designs are straightforward and they sure do look great clustered together. Oh, did I mention that she ships internationally for all of us drooling over here in the US.
