In Collaboration w. Commodity Goods ( part 1 )

I’ve got another new series for you this year and I’m really excited about it. Over the past year, this little blog has grown and grown. We’re still itty bitty, but a bigger kind of itty bitty  and that means some exciting changes have taken place. In 2014 I hope to be able to share more of my favorite brands with you. There are so many amazing makers, craftsman, crafters, and shakers out there and I’m just dying to share my favorites with you.

I’m calling this new post series “In Collaboration W.” because I’ll be collaborating with my favorite brands to share their story and my love for what they are doing. First up is one of my more recent clients,  Commodity Goods!

The team at Commodity Goods contacted me in need of a photo stylists/photographer who could help them revamp their product imagery library and website content. I jumped in with both feet because I’m  ecstatic about what the team is doing.

Essentially, Commodity Goods offers in-home perfume/cologne “scent tailoring” so you can find the perfect scent for you. The best way to test out a new fragrance is to wear it and not spray it on a piece of paper. Over the next 10 days, my fiancé and I will making our way through the 10 scents (10 male, 10 female), wearing them all day long and finding the best fit for us. Ironically, both of us just emptied our go-to bottles of fragrances…so we’re in desperate need of a new signature scent.

We’ll be back soon to share the experience with you. Until then, check out the Kick Starter video for a better understanding of how Commodity Goods is changing the game.

  1. Oh, wow! Their idea is fantastic. I’ve also just run out of fragrance and was about to buy a new one. The only only I loved, has been discontinued.
Thank you so much for sharing Commodity Goods. I’ll head to order mine now!

  2. I’m really enjoying the design and layout of your website.
It’s a very easy on the eyes which makes it much more pleasant
for me to come here and visit more often. Did you hire out a developer to create
    your theme? Superb work!
