Do you remember when I got back from Portland and told you I had discovered a “new to me band” called Efterklang? Well, these genius musicians have paired up with Vincent Moon and produced a  film called AN ISLAND. This is the second teaser of the film. Learn more Here and watch the entire film!

1. Are you looking for ways to bring industrial lighting into your home. Lots of visual inspiration at Barn Light Electric.

2. I’m just blown away at the intricate detailing in these silk scarves. They are truly pieces are artwork.

3. Making forts is one of my favorite childhood memories. This “adult like” outdoor fort is perfect and super simple to make.

I’m really loving slow motion videos these days. Makes you stop and look at every detail.

1. Thanks to Veronika I’m inspired to try making my own terrarium. Looks fun and relatively simple.

2. I’m thinking this backpack might need to be mine. A little pricey, so I’m weighing my options.

3. Bookhou at Home Etsy shop has a whole lot of beautiful in it. Check out the bags and textiles. So pretty!

4. One of my favorite Etsy shops so far is AM Radio. Love everything and I think the shop is perfectly curated.

5. I want to buy everything in this shop for my boy. Make him one dapper gent.

6. Get your daily packaging design inspiration on. Great resource!

7. For those of you who are looking for a professional looking website, but done want to write the code. Use Adobe Muse.

8. Sign up for the award-winning Wright Design catalogue. A little pricey for a year’s subscription, but I think it’d be worth the mula.

2. This Japanese clothing company has an amazing online magazine with great photography. I was a little thrown off when the pages starting turning backwards;)

3. Hire Neither Fish Nor Fowl if you ever need any illustration work. I envy their skills!

4. Did you see this? Solar Power pops, an on wheels popsicle truck. Yes!

5. This tumblr site has me coming back for more. My new fav.

1. I’ve discovered a new to me blog that I think all of you should read. So creative, inspiring and well put together. Tabitha Emma Blog.

2. Need a movable closet or more fashionable way to store your clothing. Try this hand made coat rack from Fossil’s Blog.

3. I’ve seen this hair DIY floating around the internet, and if I were a little more brave, I’d give it a try.

4. This collection of mix media art by Dawn Garner is just gorgeous. LOVE the color palette and the layering!

5. The hanging lights in this image look like something I could jerry rig myself. DIY here I come!

6. I think I need to buy one of everything in Leah Duncan Shop. Beautifully designed textiles!

7. Kate Spade and Hotel Shutters (Santa Monica) have teamed up to create this “I need it know” bicycle.

8. Asian inspired kitchen ware from Baum-Kuchen. So simple and elegant. Would fit perfectly in my kitchen!

9. The Ace Hotel gets tech savvy and OMG thank goodness. What a creative idea to make a hotel experience that much better.
